I get really excited when I see that a runway collection is accompanied by a backstage album. Often, a dress that looks pretty average on the runway will look ten times more appealing backstage on one of the models as she jokes with a friend, poses for the camera or frantically make a dash towards the runway. The photos also allows you to get a closer look at the detailing on the clothes from different angles. Most of all I like how backstage shots capture a candid moment, giving character and life to the garment.
